Our program uses the idea of the importance of primary movements on the whole child's motor system development, and the corresponding implications on the development of intentional movements and motor skills which become the neuro-physiological basis for manual skills (eating, self-service, drawing, writing), as well as visual and auditory processing abilities. We use the movement development concept within the understanding of the developmental process as it is presented by L. Vigotsky (1984), J. Piaget (1976), S. Rubinstein (1984), L.
