Our Institute is based on the structural work of the International Dr. Svetlana Masgutova Institute for Movement Development and Reflex Integration™ (ISMI) founded in Poland, Warsaw September 4th, 2002 (www.masgutovainstitute.com). This institute is founded on world-wide work and research since 1980.

The title of the Institute demonstrates its orientation on the use of Masgutova Neuro-sensory-motor Method of Infant and Lifelong Reflex patterns integration.

The Masgutova Neuro-sensory-motor Reflex Integration - MNRI ™ Method is based on the reputable knowledge of movement-based programs (N. Bernstien, N. Lesgaft, A. Leontijev, S. Rubinstein), neurophysiology (I. Pavlov. I. Setchenov, A. Luria, A. Amosov, I. Simonov), self-regulated learning and development (J. Piaget, L Vigotsky, L. Bodzowitz, A. Leotijev, I. Dubrowina, N. Tolstych), as well as up-to-date, modern neuroscience research of the brain and nervous system functioning. The main goal of the Masgutova Method is to activate developmental processes through the integration of reflexes and primary motor patterns with natural learning resources.

The Dr. Svetlana Masgutova concepts and programs focus on scientific research and practical work is based on a new holistic approach to the development of genetic motor programs and brain-body integration. This is founded on the principle of using non-invasive, natural, and efficient methods and programs to facilitate personal growth.

The Founder of the Institute is Dr. Svetlana Masgutova, specialist in Developmental and Educational Psychology. The other Founders are Denis Masgutov, Piotr Hawryluk (Poland), Pamela Curlee (USA).

Neuro-sensory-motor Reflex Integration™, where specialists, practitioners, and University teachers will be invited to experience this knowledge.

Despite being so young, our work through the American Institute is actually based on years of prior work. In 1992, original work was begun through the "Ascent" Education Institute of Edu-K and Psychological Assistance (Russia). Again, this program was based on the work that began in 1980. This program was established within the faculty of the Educational Teachers University/Open Educational University/and the Scientific Research Institute in Moscow.

The ongoing research and success later was established under the International NeuroKinesiology Institute of Movement Development and Reflex Integration later renamed the International Dr. Svetlana Masgutova Institute (Poland). Many of our research projects and 19 of 29 training programs are taken from "Ascent" Institute and will be continued in our Svetlana Masgutova Educational Institute (USA). Among them are programs devoted to:

The Research work on Reflex Integration done during the last 18 years (beginning in 1989) has opened new possibilities which are at the foundation of creating many highly efficient programs. The unique combination of the Neuro-sensory-motor Reflex Integration™ programs on Infant, Lifelong, Visual, Auditory and Facial Reflexes Integration has given us the basis of founding the International Family Camps (in Poland - www.masgutovainstitute.com) and Educational Family Workshop Conferences (USA) for children and adults with developmental and learning challenges (www.masgutovamethod.com).

Our Institute is supported by the online parent group titled Children with Challenges and brings together and supports parents and professionals worldwide in the use of the Masgutova Method.
